Hi, I’m Gaby—and I’m so glad you’re here!

Starting therapy is a meaningful step, and whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, I want you to know you’re not alone. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to heal—with someone walking alongside you.

I’m a Licensed Social Worker with a B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College and a Master’s in Social Work from Sacred Heart University. My background includes supporting individuals through their first experiences with psychosis, which taught me the value of patience, empathy, and truly meeting people where they are.

I work with children (ages 6+), teens, and adults. I specialize in working with neurodiverse clients—including those with ADHD and autism—and have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ youth and autistic children. My approach is grounded in creating an affirming, inclusive space where each person feels safe, seen, and supported.
What can you expect in our sessions?
Sessions are a collaborative space, tailored to the individual. For adults and teens, this might look like exploring challenges, identifying patterns, and building practical tools for emotional well-being. For children, it may be a space to express themselves through play, creativity, or conversation—always at their own pace and in ways that feel natural and safe. Whether we're working through big emotions, social struggles, or identity exploration, my role is to support each client in feeling understood and empowered.

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating a trusting relationship where growth can happen. I’m here to walk with you, or your child, through whatever comes next.
If you’re considering therapy, I’d be honored to connect and support you on this journey.
Warms Regards,
Gabriela Lopez, LSW
